Meet The Board

Rich is an Airbnb Ambassador, and Community Leader and has built over twenty years of experience with acquiring and improving distressed real estate of over four hundred properties.

Mr. Munroe is the managing member of Diamond Edge Properties, an Atlanta based real estate investment firm that specializes in the acquisition, management, and hosting of 75 short-term rental properties in Georgia and Florida. Mr. Munroe is a frequent speaker at industry events and is also involved with state and federal legislative initiatives and is an active member of the Atlanta Real Estate Investors Alliance and the Tampa Real Estate Investors Alliance.

Kathie is an Atlanta native, a lawyer and has

owned and operated two short term rentals in Midtown Atlanta since 2016. A graduate of Emory

University School of Law, Kathie began her legal career as an Assistant United States Attorney and has practiced for 42 years as a litigator in state and federal courts at both trial and appellate levels. Kathie has been advocating on behalf of Georgia’s short term rental owners at the state and local level since 2019.

Michael was born and raised in Cherokee Country and attended the University for Georgia and the University of Virginia to study Finance and Accounting. Michael has a CPA license in the state of Georgia and has over 10 of years of experience in public and private audit. Michael has been a host with Airbnb since 2015 and in 2018 Michael and Kate created Host this Home, LLC to help investors design and manage properties. Over the past several years, Michael has developed relationships with Airbnb’s policy team and local elected officials to help guide the COA as they implement a framework for regulating Airbnb.

Elisabeth is an Airbnb Superhost, Ambassador, and property manager with over a decade of experience in the short term rental industry. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Psychology from The College of Charleston as well as a Master’s in Educational Leadership from The Citadel Military University of South Carolina. After teaching middle school for twelve years, she began investing, renovating, and managing real estate full-time. In addition to home-hosting, Elisabeth and her husband Troy host a variety of Airbnb experiences in the Metro-Atlanta area.

As the former Global Strategic Partnership Director for Rented.com, Mateo assisted STA/STR professionals with successfully scaling their businesses through the implementation of revenue management technology and data science based revenue strategies. Mateo is a proud graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA where he currently resides. Mateo’s love of hospitality keeps him busy and active in the Industry. His current endeavors include; Vanportland Management LLC, (a boutique hotel management company specializing in unique hotels and short term rental properties); The NO BS Short Term Rental Podcast (Co-founder and Co-host); and as the strategic advisor for At Ease Rentals Corporation.

Lora was born and raised in Ohio but has called Atlanta her home since 1996. Lora has been on many boards including the President of an HOA for 6 years. While in her corporate position one of her hobbies was real estate investing. Through her experience as an investor, (renovating and renting homes) she became aware of the void in management companies that understood the needs of both owners and guests in short-term rentals. She is an owner of iTrip (professional short term management company). Lora feels the greater Atlanta area has so much to offer as many people visit the city for music, sports, dining, culture and nightlife.

Kito J. Johnson is an accomplished real estate broker who specializes in teaching others how to create generational wealth through principles of real estate investing and entrepreneurship. A licensed broker in four states, his stellar 20-year career boasts involvement in over 1,000 real estate transactions. A master networker, speaker, and CEO of Atlanta-based brokerage, Buy n Sell, Inc., Kito has been dubbed “the guy to know” in circles ranging from community leaders to elite investors.

David owns and operates LOCAL, a boutique short term housing company, and The Agility Group, a residential development company, both based in Atlanta, Georgia. Before starting LOCAL and The Agility Group, David worked for various Commercial Real Estate Developers and National Real Estate Investment Trusts.  David Graduated from the University of Georgia, and currently holds a Georgia Real Estate License.

Anthony is the President and CEO of GA Luxury Rentals. Anthony was born in Memphis, Tn., raised in Jacksonville, Fl. He is an alumni of “Thee Florida State

University.” Anthony is the published author of “Big House, Big Money.” He also owns and manages over 30 short-term rental properties throughout Georgia and Florida. His goal is to continue to grow in the short-term rental space and educate others on the positive experiences of his career path. In his free time, Anthony enjoys playing golf, working out and local fine dining.
