Bookings down since August? You've lowered your prices, tweaked your listings and offered promotions. Still slow ... really slow.
On Facebook, furniture sales are everywhere, and Atlanta hosts are asking "Should I go long-term?" In the midst of this misery, Brian Chesky announced "Airbnb is fundamentally broken," citing hosts for high prices and fees, cancellations, and properties that don't deliver on their promises. You've got questions and Bram Gallagher, Travel Economist at AirDNA, will have answers at AMSTRA's October 17th Member Meeting. Check out Bram's spots on AirDNA's YouTube Channel and STR Data Lab podcasts. Bram will also provide an update on recent changes and upgrades to the AirDNA platform.
We'll also have a City of Atlanta Update on proposed revisions to the STR Ordinance from AMSTRA's lobbyist Bernie Tokarz and AMSTRA Board members Rich Munroe and Kathie McClure.
Finally, we'll wrap up with a Roundtable Discussion on members' pressing issues, best practices and how you can get involved in making Atlanta a better place to do STR.
